SSHH stands for Same Sex Hand-Holding, an event LGBTQ Council is running in conjunction with RAG on Saturday of 5th week. The two societies will be heading to the Rad Cam in an attempt to join hands all the way round the building.

We’d like this stunt to be visually exciting, as well as an important opportunity to spread a positive message about feeling comfortable with expressing one’s sexuality in public. Despite living in a liberal environment, it is still the case that same-sex couples can encounter negativity or taboo.

If you’d like to be involved we’d love to hear from you! You don’t need to be gay, you don’t need to be straight, you just need to be there. We’ll be meeting around 14.30pm on Saturday of 5th – aim to be holding hands for 3pm, and heading for a Moo-Moo’s soon after.
